Tiffany Brent

Associate

Tiffany is a civil attorney in the state of Michigan. While tender in her legal career, Tiffany has done a lot of legal work in a relatively short amount of time. Her passion areas include social justice issues, such as age and race discrimination cases, employment discrimination; landlord / tenant law, family law and child custody cases, arbitrations, and settlements. Tiffany is also versed in probate matters, estate planning, and contractual business disputes.

 

In addition to practicing law, Tiffany has experience working within the healthcare community.   Tiffany is a consultant on local and national grant projects. She was most recently the Executive Director of Voices of Detroit Initiative (VODI), a nonprofit health care agency focused on ensuring access to quality health services for the uninsured. Prior to serving in this role, Tiffany was the Deputy Coalitions Director for a United States Senate campaign. Her work history includes the Southeast Michigan Beacon Community (SEMBC) which was a federally funded grant program through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. While with SEMBC, Tiffany was advanced to Senior Manager of Clinical Transformation where she developed and implemented a project using patient health navigators and community outreach workers helping to empower patients to better self-manage their health. Tiffany has created, managed, and secured funding for programs dealing with issues like: diabetes, women's health, health equity; health technology, oral health, wellness and community improvement. Tiffany is dedicated to ensuring her time and talent is used to advance her community.

 

Tiffany has a juris doctor degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law (Detroit Mercy Law). Tiffany received a Bachelor of Arts in Social Relations and Policy from Michigan State University James Madison College.
